National Nursing Week 2021

Join us and say Thank you to a Nurse.

May 10, 2021
Attention: All Healthcare Workers
Re: National Nursing Week May 10th to May 16th
This week is National Nursing Week in Canada and Voyago Health is dedicating this week to promoting and recognizing the efforts of all Nurses. Nurses have demonstrated just how fortunate we are to live in a country like Canada, where access to care is available to everyone, everywhere, no matter the crisis. We’re thankful for their service and commitment to protecting patients and co-workers.
This year’s theme, #WeAnswerTheCall, was developed by the Canadian Nursing Association and it showcases the many roles that nurses play in a patient’s health-care journey. The pandemic brought to light the courage and commitment that nurses work under every day and showed the important role that nurses play in the community; see more at: https://www.cna-aiic.ca/en/news-room/events/national-nursing-week.
Voyago Health supports and stands with our Nursing and Front-line Workers through this pandemic and beyond. Join us, reach out to a Nurse, maybe someone you know or even if you don’t, and say Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

Safe driving,
Corey Jarvis

We’re encouraging everyone to GET THE VACCINE, and we are making every possible arrangement to help get you in line regardless of your age. We also highly encourage everyone to know and research the availability of a vaccine within your areas; reminder your age may permit your vaccine approval before occupation does.

For more information on the Ontario Governments initiatives please visit: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/covid-19-vaccines-ontario.

Reminder to regularly utilize PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to keep yourself safe; we have been very safe as a company as a result of everyone’s diligent use of PPE, the continued cleaning of vehicles, buildings and everyone practicing social distancing. Ontario has entered a new wave of transmission, we remind everyone at Voyago to stay diligent in your efforts that help reduce the spread, Stay Home when you can, Social Distance, Wear a Mask, Use Hand Sanitizer and Wash Your Hands, to protect you and your friends and family.

Voyago Selected as Transit Partner to Strathroy-Caradoc, Sarnia, London Inter-Community Transit Service

We’re excited and proud to have been chosen to provide this vital service starting in April 2020 connecting these prominent SW Ontario communities. See the Following PR Release.

About Inter-Community Transit Service for Sarnia, Strathroy and London
We believe community transit plays an important role in sustaining strong and vibrant local economies by providing essential travel service to mobility-challenged individuals.

This Inter-Community Transit service allows more people, more opportunity to connect to amenities at home, and to those in neighbouring cities – City to City, Everyday.

Voyago supports the Government of Ontario’s Community Transportation Grant Program as an ideal initiative to ensure Community to Community access. These programs provide people with the freedom and mobility that enrich their community experience.
Voyago expects to commence operations in April 2020, offering three round trips daily Monday to Fridays, excluding statutory holidays, plus two round trip services on Saturdays and Sundays.

Voyago will provide dedicated purpose-built transit vehicles, fully compliant to AODA
(Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) specifications to the service system, along with fully trained, dedicated Transit Drivers.

We are confident that ridership levels will reach intended targets as indicated through the community research and key stakeholders will see value in the program long term to perhaps sustain the service through the initial pilot funding period set to expire in March of 2023.

We are currently working towards on-boarding our operational teams, supporting our partner communities with marketing and communications planning, and preparing the fleet of service vehicles.

Voyago teams are excited and look forward to begin operations serving the communities of Sarnia, Strathroy-Caradoc and London with more access to more places, for more people.
End of Release.
